Police thank community for successful toy and food drive

The Orangeville Police wishes to thank the community for another successful toy and food drive this holiday season.

Orangeville Police Auxiliary Unit members collected toys and food at various locations throughout Orangeville from late November until December 23rd.

Toys and gift cards collected were distributed to members of the community through the Dufferin Christmas Hamper Program and other social service agencies. Police also delivered 3471 pounds of food to the Orangeville Food Bank.

“We are again humbled by the generosity and support that the community continues to show for our annual campaign” said Chief Wayne Kalinski.

The Orangeville Police Service extends their gratitude to the several local businesses that supported the campaign by being drop off locations and for their financial contributions.
