Police seek help identifying mischief suspect

The Orangeville Police Service is seeking help from the public to identify a suspect responsible for two mischief incidents early Monday morning (June 4).

On Monday, June 4, 2018, police received a report of vandalism at a carwash business and a daycare business located on Townline. A male suspect used purple spray-paint to write profanity on windows of both businesses. A portion of the mischief was captured on video cameras. The incidents are believed to have taken place between 2:00am to 3:00am.

The suspect in the video was observed to be a tall white male, thin build, wearing black shoes, dark pants, a black hooded sweatshirt with a red and yellow Superman ā€œSā€ logo on the front and red markings on the shoulder and back. The interior of the hood is white. The suspect also wore a blue ball cap with an adjustable strap and a black backpack with white lettering on top.

Police are continuing their investigation and would like to hear from anyone who may be able to identify the suspect or assist with this investigation in any way.
