Police investigate theft of tractor

The Orangeville Police Service is currently investigating the theft of a landscaping tractor and trailer from Orangeville Home Depot, Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning.

Sometime between 9:00 pm on Tuesday, June 26 and 5:00 am on Wednesday, June 27, a Kubota tractor and a trailer were taken from the rental equipment area of Home Depot, 49 Fourth Avenue in Orangeville. The theft was reported to police at approximately 10:00 am on Wednesday June 27.

The tractor is described as a Kubota BX25 complete with backhoe and frontend loader attachments. The unit is orange with black trim. The tractor was secured to a 5’ x 10’ flatbed trailer, black with white wheel rims.

Police are continuing their investigation and would like to hear from anyone who may have information regarding this crime.
