Orangeville Police concert raises over $2400 for hospital

The Orangeville Police Service presented Headwaters Health Care Centre with a cheque for $2469.60, at the hospital Tuesday afternoon.

The cheque represents the proceeds from the Service’s fundraising concert held on November 9, 2018. The concert featured music from new country music entertainer and Orangeville Police Constable Graham Trude and the popular Canadian country music group The Good Brothers. The funds will go towards priority equipment for the hospital’s Emergency Department.

“The event was a great success and we appreciated the support of those who attended the concert to benefit our community partners, Headwaters Health Care Centre”, said Chief Wayne Kalinski.

The Orangeville Police Service hopes to make the “Concert For Headwaters” an annual event and is already in talks with Theatre Orangeville to book a date for the 2019 edition. Further information will be announced when the date and entertainment is confirmed.

The Orangeville Police Service wishes to thank Theatre Orangeville for their partnership of the event as well as Country 105 Radio and Toppers Pizza for their contributions to the 2018 concert.
