Elden Ring’s latest update, Patch 1.15, aims to answer the prayers of ineffective golem hunters

Do you enjoy treating? Hand Ring‘s bosses to the power of your punches? Don’t worry, you can accept it, we are all friends here. Especially since the latest patch for Shadow of the Erdtree’s improved gameplay is partly aimed at ensuring you can have a good time practicing your hobby.

Hey, at least this update shouldn’t spark too much conversation about nerfs and whether they’re a good thing or not – something its predecessor – Patch 1.14 – was at risk of doing. Adjustments to Promised Spouse Radahn.

As detailed his notesPatch 1.15 is all about bug fixes and things that can help you avoid experiencing unstable performance on PC or console.

But tell me, where are the punching blessings? Here, calm down. FromSoft has fixed a few bugs that could be causing trouble for people like you, and is hoping to prevent you from encountering situations like “Some of the Golem Fist weapon attacks will not deal damage when the player is affected by certain special effects” or “Golem Fist weapon”. One-handed heavy attack power is lower than expected”.

Yep, that’s just some tweaks to the performance of a giant fist made of broken rock that you can hit people with, what did you think I was talking about? If you’re looking forward to more, please read the rest of the patch’s changes (I’ve laid them out nicely below) and take your mind out of this mess:

  • Fixed a bug that caused the cutscene that played when entering the Shadow Fortress Church District to be played again when re-entering the area.
  • Crucible Elements: Fixed a bug that prevented the Thorn spell from being cast when cast in rapid succession.
  • Fixed a bug where the Blacksmith’s Amulet effect was not applied to some weapons’ throwing attacks.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented ashes from being used in some areas of the Scadutree Avatar battle arena.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Twin Moon Knight Rellana to sometimes perform unexpected actions when interacting with objects on the battlefield.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed Skills to be used in incorrect combinations with Weapons under certain conditions.
  • Fixed a bug that caused some enemies to display and behave unexpectedly under certain conditions.
  • Fixed a bug where some sound effects were not playing correctly.
  • Various performance improvements and other bug fixes.
  • Other fixes have also been added to the game’s end credits.

Ah, here are possible imbalance fixes:

  • For the PS5 version of the game, the unstable frame rate can be improved by using the “Rebuild Database” option in the device’s safe mode.
  • On some PC versions, Ray Tracing may be unintentionally enabled and cause unstable performance. Please check the Ray Tracing setting in “System” > “Graphics” > “Ray Tracing Quality” from the title screen or in-game menu.
  • The message “Inappropriate activity detected” may appear on the PC version without cheats. To resolve this issue, please verify the integrity of the game files before restarting the game.
  • On the PC version, third-party applications that control mouse behavior may cause unstable frame rate. Disabling these third-party applications may improve performance.

So now go and wash your hands because we don’t know where one of them might be.
