‘Trump was absolutely thrilled with JD Vance’s performance’

The former president was very active during the debate and constantly made comments about Walz’s performance. Moments after Walz addressed the moderators about the conflict in the Middle East, Trump attacked the governor, saying, “He’s been indoctrinated with lies thinking he can invalidate his own incompetence.” The former president’s sharp remarks painted Walz as bewildered and over-the-top, saying: “He’s as nervous as can be!”
In the face of Walz’s criticism of Trump’s foreign policy decisions, Trump stood firmly behind Vance, stating that he provided “an excellent defense of me and the Administration against false accusations made by a clearly not very bright Governor.”
The debate turned personal when Trump showed off his trademark wit by repeatedly calling Walz the sarcastic nickname “Buffer Tim.” He joked: “JD is steady and strong, Bumper Tim is sweaty, nervous and ‘weird’.”
