Cross Canadian Ragweed to Reunite in 2025 for First Show in 15 Years

Seminal country rock band Cross Canadian Ragweed has returned after 15 years.

Adding their name to the long list of bands announcing their reunion this year, Cross Canadian Ragweed have confirmed that they will reunite once again for a special show at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on April 12, 2025. The lineup will include names from Red Dirt artists. Turnpike TroubadoursThe Great Divide, Jason Boland and The Stragglers and Stoney LaRue.

Speaking about the reunion, frontman Cody Canada explained: “What stood out to me most about Ragweed were all the people we met. People I’m still friends with, from Portland, Oregon to Ybor City, Florida, and from New York to San Diego “There’s a part of me that never wants to stop doing this. That’s why I’m nostalgic. I think everyone should have a little nostalgia in their life.”

“So let’s come together, make sure we sound really good, and make people smile,” Canada continued. Let’s make ourselves smile and make McClure, Jason, Stoney and the Turnpike boys smile too.

Cross Canadian Ragweed began promoting the reunion on social media late last month, eventually confirming it on October 1 with the trailer for the April 12 show. Check out the trailer below.
