Ryan Williams has scored a goal in every game he has played for the Crimson Tide this season. He had 16 catches for 462 yards and five touchdowns through four games.

“I’m happy for him that he was finally able to shine in his junior year,” Sanders said. “I feel like he would be a great receiver.”

High school accolades also told the story.

Ryan Williams is rated as a five-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class and is the No. 5 overall player in the country. He was ranked as the No. 3 wide receiver in his class and the No. 2 overall player in the state of Alabama.

So far it lives up to the high billing. And Shedeur Sanders was especially impressed.
