Sonoma County Family YMCA hosts annual golf tournament in Windsor

Golfers gathered in Windsor Sept. 27 for a tournament to raise money for Santa Rosa-based Sonoma County Family YMCA.

The 34th annual Fore Y Kids Golf Tournament was held at the Windsor Golf Club from 11 am-6 pm

Snack sacks were distributed to attendees at check-in and kept golfers fueled throughout the day.

Guests paid $195 to play individually or $720 for a foursome. Sponsorships ranged from $250-$10,000.

Following the tournament, golfers enjoyed cocktails, a raffle and a silent auction. Dinner was served at 6 pm where awards were presented.

Money raised will go toward YMCA programs that promote youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, according to the event flyer.
