October 2024 Smartphone Released: Vivo, Oppo, OnePlus, Xiaomi and More

Vivo X200 Series

The Vivo X200 series will be launched in China on October 14, 2024 and will include three models: Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro and Vivo X200 Pro Mini. All three smartphones will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset and provide strong performance. Continuing the tradition of their predecessors, these devices will have a Zeiss camera system with a circular design.

A key change in the new flagships is the move from traditional curved displays to micro-curved flat panels that will increase usability and offer a more modern look. Users can also look forward to larger batteries and upgraded camera sensors that will improve photography capabilities and extend battery life. This series is definitely one of the most anticipated smartphone launches in October.

Oppo Find X8

Oppo has not yet announced the official launch date of the Find X8 series, but the smartphones are expected to be launched in October 2024. There will be two models in this series: Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro. Both devices will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, ensuring strong performance.

An important feature of the Find X8 series will be the Hasselblad tuned camera system, which will improve photo quality. The phones will also feature a ‘Quick Button’ that provides quick access to camera functions, similar to the ‘Camera Control’ button on the iPhone 16 series.

Additionally, the Find X8 series supports 50W Qi2 magnetic wireless charging, showing Oppo’s focus on innovative charging solutions. To complement this feature, Oppo plans to introduce various first-party accessories designed to enhance the wireless charging experience.

Xiaomi 15 Series

According to rumors, Xiaomi 15 series will be launched in China on October 23. There will be two models in this series: Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. Both devices will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, previously known as Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Users can look forward to the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for increased security and support for Qi2 magnetic wireless charging. The new models are expected to have larger batteries and an impressive IP69 rating for excellent dust and water resistance. Like previous generations, the Xiaomi 15 series will also feature Leica-tuned cameras, and the Pro version is said to include a telephoto lens from the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

Honor Spell 7 Series

The Honor Magic 7 series is expected to launch in China this October and will likely include four main models: Magic 7, Magic 7 Pro, Magic 7 Ultimate and Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design. All of these devices are expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, previously known as Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. High-end models are expected to have a pill-shaped cutout for facial recognition. Honor has confirmed that these phones will feature an AI Agent, and more details are expected to be revealed soon.

OnePlus 13

OnePlus 13 will be released in late October with a new design and improved features. Like previous models, this model will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The phone, which will have a second generation BOE Oriental screen, is expected to retain the Hasselblad camera system. Leaks also suggest that the OnePlus 13 will have a larger 6,000 mAh battery and an IP69 rating for better durability.

iQOO13

iQOO 13 will probably arrive by the end of October. It may come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The phone will have the new BOE flat OLED display, which consumes less power and offers better brightness. There will also be an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the screen.

For photography, the iQOO 13 will have three rear cameras: a 50MP wide lens, an ultra-wide lens, and a 2x telephoto lens. It may also include water and dust resistance with an IP68 rating. Finally, it will include a large 6,150mAh battery for longer use.
