iPhone 16 Pro charges faster than ever, here’s how much

As you can see, 35W is about the minimum brick size you’ll want to get optimal charging speed. Going higher than that doesn’t provide extra gain unless you use the same brick to charge the Mac or iPad.

Testing also shows that third-party charging bricks perform as well as Apple’s offerings, with the same 20% increase over last year’s models.

If you use Apple’s 20W charging brick, you’ll only get 18W charging power. But with the right hardware, this test shows you can nearly double that, reaching 30W or more.
