Female arrested for early morning residential Break and Enter

The Orangeville Police Service has arrested and charged a 21-year-old female with several criminal offences as a result of a report of a Break and Enter incident at a Bythia Street residence Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday, April 18, at approximately 6:40am, a female victim woke up to noises in the kitchen of her Bythia Street residence. She investigated the noises and discovered that someone had been in her house and ran out of her garage door. A witness walking by at the time gave a description of the person who was seen running away from the residence.

The victim called police and officers apprehended a female, matching the description, a short distance away.

As a result of the investigation, Kristen Marie Parlette, 21, of Orangeville, was arrested and charged with Break and Enter, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Marihuana and Failing to Comply With a Probation Order.

The accused female was held in custody pending a bail hearing regarding the allegations.
