Orangeville man and woman arrested in illicit drug investigation

The Orangeville Police Service has arrested an Orangeville man and woman in connection with an ongoing illicit drug investigation in the community.

As a result of information received during their investigation, on Friday, May 1, officers executed a search warrant at an apartment at 61 Townline in Orangeville. Police seized a quantity of illicit drugs believed to be Cocaine, Crack Cocaine, Methamphetamine (Crystal Meth) and Fentanyl. A switchblade knife and a quantity of cash was also seized.

Darren Patrick Madden, 37, and Michelle A. Minialoff, 52, both of Orangeville, were arrested and each charged with Possession of Cocaine, Crack Cocaine, Methamphetamine (Crystal Meth) and Fentanyl and Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon. Madden was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Orangeville on July 6, 2020 to answer to the allegations. Minialoff was also charged with Failing to comply with an Undertaking and remains in custody pending a bail hearing in court.
