Police investigate residential break and enter

Your Orangeville Police Service is investigating a break and enter that occurred at a Westmorland Drive residence Thursday.

On Thursday, December 12, 2019, at approximately 2:15 p.m., police were called to a residence on Westmorland Drive to investigate a report of a break and enter.

The victim reported leaving the residence at approximately 8:20 a.m. and returning at approximately 2:00 p.m. to discover that someone had entered the home and removed property.

Entry was made to the home at the rear of the residence. A quantity of cash and electronic equipment was taken.

Police are continuing to investigate the break and enter and would like to speak with anyone who has information regarding the incident or who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area of Westmorland Drive on Thursday. Additionally, police are asking to hear from anyone who has video security cameras on the exterior of their properties on Westmorland Drive.
