Police investigate fail to remain collision

Your Orangeville Police Service is investigating a fail to remain collision that occurred Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Broadway and C Line.

On Sunday, August 18, 2019, at approximately 12:40 p.m., a motor vehicle collision occurred involving two vehicles at the intersection of Broadway and C Line. A red Chevrolet Equinox was eastbound on Broadway and stopped for a red light at the C Line intersection. The Chevrolet was rear-ended by either a grey Toyota or Hyundai. The grey vehicle, driven by a male, fled the area south bound on C Line. The incident was reported to police approximately four hours later.

Police are continuing their investigation and would like to hear from anyone who might have witnessed the collision or who has information regarding the identity of the driver who fled the scene.
