Police obtain arrest warrant for robbery suspect

The Orangeville Police Service has obtained a warrant to arrest an Orangeville man in connection to a convenience store robbery early Monday morning.

Dylan John Henry Massis, 26, of Orangeville, is wanted for Robbery with a Weapon and two counts of Breach of Probation. An arrest warrant was issued to police as they continue to investigate an alleged robbery that occurred early Monday morning at a Townline convenience store.

On Monday, July 30, 2018 at 2:56 am, officers received a report of a robbery at the Circle K Convenience Store located at 400 Townline in Orangeville.

A store employee called 911 after a male entered the store asking that the employee make change from a $5 bill. When the employee opened the cash register, the male suspect jumped behind the counter pushing the store clerk aside. At the same time, a female entered the store and began striking items on the counter while demanding that the clerk turn over the money in the cash register. The two culprits left the store with the cash tray and fled the area in a silver sedan. Their last direction of travel is unknown.

Police are still attempting to identify the female suspect who was described as white, 5’4 to 5’6, long blonde hair, medium build, wearing a dark jacket with hood.

Police are continuing their investigation and would like to speak with anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Dylan Massis or the identity of the female involved in the incident.
