Rainbow flag flies proudly at Orangeville Police Station

The Orangeville Police Service is proud to fly the rainbow flag, during the month of June is support and celebration of LGBTQ Pride Month.

LGBTQ Pride is the positive stance against discrimination and violence toward lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) people to promote their self-affirmation, dignity, equality rights, increase their visibility as a social group, build community, and celebrate sexual diversity and gender variance.

“We are proud to fly the rainbow flag in support of our LGBTQ residents in Orangeville. We support an inclusive and respectful community where all citizens can live, work and play in a safe and secure environment”, said Chief Wayne Kalinski.
