Trees stolen from Princess of Wales Park

Your Orangeville Police Service is investigating the theft of two trees from Princess of Wales Park last Friday afternoon.

On Friday, October 6, 2017, at approximately 2:00pm, an unknown female was observed extracting two trees from a landscaped area on the western portion of Princess of Wales Park, located at 4 Saxon Street in Orangeville. A neighbouring resident of the park witnessed the female uproot two well established trees and replace them with two smaller trees. The female took one of the trees with her from the scene and left the second tree in the ditch on the east side of B Line.

The witness described the female suspect as white, approximately 40-years-old, short blond hair and wearing a grey long sleeve shirt, grey pants and a lime green vest. The suspect’s vehicle was described as light grey in colour.

Police are continuing their investigation and are asking to hear from anyone who may have information regarding this theft incident.
