Missing female located

Thanks to a tip from a vigilant citizen, the Orangeville Police Service has located 17-year-old Kimberly Legault-Caston safe and sound at the Town of Orangeville Library on Mill Street.

On Friday, March 2, 2018, at approximately 5:30pm, a citizen contacted Orangeville Police after seeing a female that was believed to be the subject of a media release that had been distributed over social media a few hours earlier. The Orangeville Police downtown foot patrol officer attended the library a few minutes later and confirmed that the female was indeed Kimberly Legault-Caston.

The female had been reported missing when she left a Broadway restaurant on Thursday, March 1, at approximately 2:15pm.

The Orangeville Police Service would like to thank the public and their media partners for their assistance in the sharing of information which ultimately resulted in the successful conclusion to this incident.
